a) 10%
b) 20%
c) 100%
d) 40 - 60%

normal sperm motility is 80- 90% nah

usually the specimen is examined with in 2hrs...isnt it

yes but as ths is not on the option. the answer ahs to be d. show mentions 80-90% but i think dutta mentions that >60% is normal and <40% cause infertility. will check it. but answr i think should be d in both the cases.

Normal values for semen analysis according to who

Volume > 2.0 ml
sperm concentration > 20 million/ml
motility > 50%
morphology > 30%

answer is D
60% SPERMS HAVING FORWARD PROGRESSIVE MOTILITY

THERE IS A DIFFRENCE IN DIFFRENT BOOKS BECAUSE SOME BOOKS COURT OVERALL MOTILITY that should be 90%
but latest WHO criteria recommends 60% wth forward progressive motility
