chest pain &palpitation varying in duration & severity &6-7 ectopics per minute (possibly supraventricular) not related to exertion
her BP Is 86 mmHg & pulse is 86/min the ideal investigation is---
1echocardiography
2electrophysiologcal studies
3thallium study

in any heart condition now a days ideal investigation is echo only.

oh sorry my post was half posted and it submitted no no the answer is not echo here actually i want to say taht in any heart condition now a days ideal investigation is echo only but in case of supraventicular tachy electrophysiological testing is the ideal treatemnt cmdt 2005 page 356 357 mentions taht indication of elctrophysiologic test
!.evaluation of recurrent syncope
differntiation of svt from vt
evaluation in accessary atrio ventricular pathways
evaluation of the efficacy of pharmacotherapy
evaluation of pt for catheter ablation procedures.


also 365 says taht ambulatory ecg monitering or event recorders need in whom recurren svt suspected.
