dr prasu--for yr ref from nelson --what age grp is being reffered??is this for the neonates??

aqueductal stenosis is the most common cause of congenital hydrocephalus.

bravo do u have a def ref for yr statement--thats at infancy the mc cause is arnold chiari??
here i think ans shd be meningitis.

postinfectious causes are the most common cause of hydrocephalus in childhood and infancy[pls correct me bravo for this infancy part ,if u have a handy reference]

The commonest cause of obstructive hydrocephalus is congenital aqueduct stenosis.

The commonest cause of Communicating or non-obstructive hydrocephalus is post-infective and post-haemorrhagic hydrocephalus.

Am I right ??
