Hi ghadooda,
I think we r the only 2 pharmacists on this website
It is nice to hear from u anyway. Where r u from? When were u graduated?
I don't know if I would be of great help to you coz I had this exam 2 yrs ago. I don't know if the system is still the same.
Anyway, one of the main important things u have to get trained on, is the kind of calculator they will be providing in the exam setting. You can find a detailed explanation with illustrated diagram on the PEBC website. It has a different mechanism than the Casio scientific calculator we r used to.
One of the main books to study is Comprehensive Pharmacy Review.
The evaluation exam is not that hard after all. U just need to keep calm and concentrate.
I'll be glad to answer any of ur questions.

Hi all,
I am studying to pass the qualifying exam pebc May 2006.
I am studying from different books: Applied therapeutic, Therapeutic Choice, The pharmacy... Review and several others.
I find it hard to cope with all of them alone; it is not fun to study alone "Just like taking to your self".
Unfortunately I am now traveling”out side Canada
” So the only I can communicate is through emails.
Any one! !!!!!

Hi there
I know how you feel. I qualified in England and am taking the Canada
.previouspapers
in London, Uk in July 2006. So far I have downloaded the PEBC Canada
.previouspapers
syllabus and have purchased the pharmacy prep Canada
.previouspapers
materials. These materials are basically like lecture notes, so far these two have just been a guide on what areas to study, but it is quite daunting, there is a lot of information to cover. I am just using my university text books to read around the subject areas.
I would like to get some more examples of exam papers to get a better idea of the range of questions they ask. Anyone with any more tips let me know! Good to find people in the same boat!
Matthew
