I was denied a PFT on the basis of honorary SHO post. My visa expiring, want to get it extended, possibly a visitor visa. Had an extension already for 6 months before. Any suggestions as how to get an extension. Cannot apply for HSMP, no substantive post in hand. May possibly get an honorary SHO post. Help !!!!!!!!!!!!

You have mentioned that you have been denied a PFT on the basis of a honorary post.

Did you have the Dean's letter?

Deans letter is the most important document for the grant of a PFT.

Since you have the Honorary post they should have given you extention of the visitors visa... if not the PFT!
