Analysis: Cut off marks nov 2005

guys..... what do u think the cut off marks this time would be?
i think anybody who gets 60-61 would be inside 300
i rate this exam tougher than last 3 AIIMS
papers....

this was comparatively easier than last nov 2004
paper
but afterall its AIIMS
don't comment on difficulty of this nov 05
until u crosscheck your answers
there cud b lot of surprises waiting for u...

hi paracetamol,
i too thought the paper was a bit tough compared to the previous ones
i am also of the same opinion that anytihng around 64% will get a decent rank within the list.
it will be the same as that of nov 2004
one of my class mates got 28th rank with a percentage of 62 in the AIIMS
list but he calculated around 66 so we must reduce 4 percent from what we calculate

yep...... i remember the guy who got rank 16 got around 65-66 last november.......
still my feeling is cut off will be 60-61....
remeber last novemebr it was 55-56......
any idea wat was the cutoof last may.......

whatever b the type of questions,in AIIMS
cutoff doesnot go beyond 58%

hey pratham, the cut off in may 2005 was 67-68%, and there was a lot crowding. the whole lot of ranks from first rank to one hundreden thirtieth crowded between 70 and 78%. too narrow for an AIIMS

i'll go for the first 10 ranks getting distributed between 72 and 75, getting rank within 30 to be 68 and getting rank within 70 to be 64

paper is a good one....difficult than may 2005 easier than nov 2004 similar to nov 2003.....anaethesia is getting tougher by the day....there are cardiac, neuro, paediatric and then the routine general Anaesthesia
groups in AIIMS
which makes the pool of questions they can choose from very wide with a lot of depth in each of the questions.....expect the same from radiology, nuclear medicine, urology, oncology, hematology, rheumatology, Biostatistics
