Hi,
I am also a second year student and I personally find Walter Israel to be very useful for general Pathology . What i find truly remarkable about this book is that it is very readable and easy to understand. Although the book is out of print for several years i am sure that one can find it in the library

Studying ROBBINS need dedication.its not totally exam oriented and hence writing answers in your exams would become difficult.........as a reference book it is awesome......

But for the exams of 2nd MBBS i would advice HARSHMOHAN....
