I have been advised to study a book by F. Farr and S.C.Bushong.
I'd appreciate if some one cud advise regarding recommended text books/ notes. I'd be glad to participate in online preparation/ note comparison.

Hi Dr Amir. Did you attempt any exams in March or Dec. What was the result. If you are yet to appear, pl read Bushong once or twice to get feeling of the subject but then do stick to Farr (Physics for Medical Imaging by F Farr MA). Read it as many times as you can. Also try to solve as many MCQs as possible. Try Monicca Khannas 'MCQs For the FRCR Part 1' and David J Dowsett's 'MCQs in Physics of Diagnostic Imaging'. Good luck with your preps.

Thanx once again for nice advise.Unfortunately i couldnt appear in exam yet but fortunately have found very good website for those related to radiology.its name is society of radiologists trainees,u may know abt this site.Anyway its very good site with lot of discussions going on in forums both for FRCRpart 1 an 2.Anyhow best wishes

Well i have started to study Radiological Science for Technologists by Stewart C Bushong.Actually somene gave me advise to study one detailed book either this one or Christensens book,to make concept of basic physics.But at the end need to study only and soley the Physics for Medical Imaging by Farr.I havent got any mcqs books but first want to study then will solve mcqs during second reading inshALLAH.I am planning to appear in december inshaALLH.May ALLAH help me out.amin.i hope u will find this informative.Also u can go to website of soceity of radiologists trainees,thats also very gud and informative site regarding FRCR.Al the best.
