One thing for sure............... The Proteas are going to run into some bad weather when Sachin and Sehwag are going to blaze... Of late both of these guys have looked in good touch, but are yet to play a "big" innings........

And one more observation.. about Sachin.....

Though his batting remains the same - like what it was during 2003 world cup (he was at his best in 1998 - forget that), I feel that his bowling has deteriorated considerably.

In fact I am one of the few persons who used to watch Sachin the bowler with more interest (I will not even go to drink water when he is bowling) than Sachin the batsman ........ and I feel that his bowling is very poor in the past three weeks.....

eventhough he used to be hit for runs (and few boundaries) in the past, he seemed to be in total control and always outsmarted the batsman (from Lara to bevan) and got a wicket that was earned and not gifted. Now he does not appear to be capable of (or in the intention of ) getting a wicket

Your opinion On his bowling alone ..........

you are spot on bruno... absolutely rite...
sachin as a bowler was always a delite to watch,
and this aspect of his is definitely lacking these days...

he was v.ritely called THE MAN WITH THE GOLDEN ARM..
who excelled in dismissing well set batsmen.

guess he is concentratin more on his batting now..
don't forget he bowled the best during that period
when his battin was also v.free flowing..
everything ultimately related to your confidence level

rest assured he'll again be the same sachin with the ball
the day his confidence with the bat is back
