do still i need to take canadian exam
how many r those exam and whats their costs

You will still need the canadian exams. MCCEE, MCCQE-1 are about $650 US and MCCQE Part2 is about $ 1400 US. Check out the website at

My dear Ubaid gluteus ,
you do not hold any status in Canada
haha.. sorry for being so scarcastic.. , that so destressing but a fact of life and a reall bitter FACT!!!! , how much you have strive for it your ECFMG certification is nothing for Canadain expect that they will ask for you USMLE ID for correspondence and to verify your creditials.
You need to give 3 exams in order to get LMCC(canadain lisence) but this will also not guarntee you to get into the residency position.

Almost prices are the same as mention by Reddy..
but Dear Reddy..you know what for QE2 they just increaed 50 CAN more so it now 1450 CAN..
every year they will increase..tough luck guys!!!

Can anyone tell me which exam is better to give USMLE or Canadian exams? After doing these exam which has a better hope of success to get a medical residency and a better future.

What is the status of doing all the Canadian exams for IMG in Canada ?

Also what is the status of doing all the USMLE exams for IMG in USA?
