I have a question. A person gets a visit visa for 2 yrs. He enters the UK after 2 months after the start date. He has a valid time of more 22 months for the visa to expire. How will he extend his visa after six months? What will happen to the old visa then? When will be start of the new visa ?

You must leave the country in after 6 months in case of visit visa and then re enter,why to extend if you have a valid visa?
