Can u pl explain how to calculate?

it is 1000 cal at 0ne year and from then onwards add 100 cal for each month....

from paeds clinics i remember it as 1000 cals at first yr and 100 increase evry year..
but ans given is 1200!!
Can anyone pl explain with ref??

but there is definately some formulas to calculate height and weight for a particular age plaese post them...

height and weight formulas::

weight:
<1yr:
wt= age in mths + 9
-------------------
2

1-5 yrs
wt = 2 * age in yrs + 8

5-10yrs
wt = 7*age in yrs - 5
-------------------
2

formulae for height:

length at birth 50cm
at 1yr 75cm

after 1yr :
ht = 6*age in yrs + 77
