we ve had duscussions of loads of stuff n this one is totally irrelevant to studies n should be offbeat actually but concerns Australia so posting it here.
Nonie or anyone else can u tell me wht do people wear to work, is it very formal?are jeans a big no no? are lab coats necessary?
what about food? movies?etc etc basically about the lifestyle.
would love to hear people's views.

What people wear in qld is shorts and half sleeve t shit or shirt in hospital
No lab coats at least in my hopsital
Weather here id tropical so dont ever expect to wear suits, even in winters in QLD
Good for nonveg ppl, sorry about vegs, but sydney and melbourne and other places are good for everyone wrt food
Movies? ofcourse heaps of english movies, occ indian in theatres
Heaps of gr8 print dvds of indian movies in metro cities, not in regional areas though

I think there are IMAX theaters there where you could watch 3D stuffs.
I reckon there are all types of food there. icon_smile.gif
Lifestyle, I would guess people drink a lot of alcohol everyday. Lots of alcoholic cardiomyopathy there!

i went n saw a movie in melbourne n u know wht the new halls in b'lore are better.
