Extra Campine Hallucinations
---------------------------------
The patient has a hallucination which is outside the limits of the sensory field. For example, he sees someone standing behind him when he is looking straight ahead or he hears voices talking in Chennai when he knows he is in Chowpati. These hallucinations have no diagnostic significance; they can be hypnagogic, organic or schizophrenic.

good def in post 2. but i would be careful about the lewy body bit because the current guidelines by mac keith do not specify any particular nature of halln other than being visual halln. specualtion is that lilliputian halln are the most comman in lewy body.
