In previous days beta blockers were contraindicated in heart failure but now there used if
- There is no compensation in CO.
-If excess sympathetic activity is affecting CO.
-They r useful in long term.
-They help in MI which may be one of the cause
-There is contraversy about their use but clinical trials in favour of its long term use.
