this is an important question and needs attention, in case it gets repeated??

isoflurane is specifically indicated for this condition as clearly given in ajay yadav on page no.130 .
but, this question is specifically asking the agent of choice for induction of Anaesthesia --- which is sevoflurane (in case of infants and children).

is it possible that for induction , we give sevoflurane and the at the time of maintenance , isoflurane? -- in that case , the answer for this question will be sevoflurane.
if anyone has Lee, can u please check it up and comment?
