actually i think in bdc or physio any book it is written that 2/3rd of blood supply ofliver is by portal vein.


and all three right left and middle hepatic vein forms confluence before entering in to ivc.

so as such all option seems to be correct but exat percentage is 66% not 75% you can take like that

or you can tell that in infancy portal vein has valve and some persist as a rudimentary valves.

so these are facts frame you answer according to you veiws

thats the only correct the buk says..then if we consider 66% to be correct but can we ignore 3) ?

the ans is 3)common hepatic art. gives rise to to gastro-duodenal art.


Reason:
1) 60-66% blood is supplied by hepatic v.
2) All the 3 veins join the ICV independently
4) portal system has valves


Correct me if I m Wrong

bhavu is right
i checked a lot of texts

max share of portal vein in upto 70%
rest all options are 100% correct
so the only option is a printing mistake in the question
