well nitwit..travel plans is something which shudnt bother u much..when u have major probs with the exam itself!
As of now,the news is the karantaka govt has come out with a GO,according to which RGUHS is conducting a exam for all pvt colleges in karnataka,after which counselling,admissions etc will be done by the university itself,which means, COMEDK will be dissolved. But who is eligible to write & what will be the seat sharing is not yet clear..may be we'll know better once the applications are issued that is on 26/12/05 & the exam is on 12/2/06(by RGUHS)
But I dont think COMEDK ppl r gonna just stay calm,again court....& a long drawn out battle. As of now, they have stopped issuing applications

so as for now comedk stands dissolve,but what about the application form which pple have already sent....
HOW MANY SEATS ARE THERE EXACTLY FOR KARNATAKA PG WHICH IS ON 5TH FEB.............

yeah..infact..I was also planning to take NIMS,Hyd on 12thfeb, so have to drop that now if this is confirmed.
As far as applications are concerned....better contact the comedk helpline

As per the Government order No. HFW 408 MPS 2005 dated 21-12-2005, the University is conducting P-PGET, 2006 for admissions to Post graduate Medical and Dental Degree and Diploma Courses in Unaided Private Medical, Dental (Minority & Non-Minority) Colleges and Deemed University Colleges of Karnataka for the year 2006-07. Candidates shall meet all the requirements as stipulated by MCI/ DCI for eligibility. The eligible candidates willing to appear for the Test may download the Application-cum- Brochure from RGUHS website: The filled-in application may be submitted to RGUHS, Bangalore in person/by post on payment through DD of Rs. 1,100/- only (Rs.350/- only for SC, ST candidates) towards Entrance Test fee drawn in favour of the “Registrar, RGUHS, Karnataka, Bangalore” payable at Bangalore.
