Occupational/Postgraduate Training Programs in Australia

Overseas trained doctors who are working in Australian hospitals in the Occupational Training/Postgraduate Training Programs may be eligible to join the training program with some credit for training already completed overseas. Further details should be obtained from the Training Section of the College office in Australia or the College office in New Zealand .

It should be noted that endorsement by the Board ofCensors of occupational training for the employer and the Immigration Department is not an indication of registration in either basic or advanced training of the College.

Graduates of Overseas Medical Schools

Graduates from overseas medical schools and those who have commenced physician training outside Australia or New Zealand , now working within either country, may be eligible to join the training program with some exemption for training already completed overseas if assessed as comparable to training in Australia and New Zealand .

Further details should be obtained from the Training Section of the College office in Australia or the College office in New Zealand .
