I do not have any direct references...but I found something which might be useful...

Alpha 2-adrenergic receptor exist on adrenal medullary cells and have inhibitory effect on the secretion of catecholamine from the cells.

Release of catecholamines can be prompted by a number of different agents. Ganglionic stimulants such as agonists of the NN receptors on ganglion cells (for example, DMPP) promote the release of catecholamines from adrenal medulla. Likewise, agonists of the M1 muscarinic receptor of ganglion cells (for example McN-A-343) may also promote release from adrenal medulla.

The latter are not adrenergic receptors but still this is all what I could make out for now.......may be you can help me in finding the rest....
