well bravo dear i would like to jus correct the option chosen by u

extension is perhaps the most evident in lumbar region.....

rotation is the feature of cervical region esp c1-c2

rest flexion and lat flexion are also seen in lumbar region

hence the answer shud be ROTATION

intertransverse ligament thought to be well-developed only in the lumbar region; functionally limits side-bending and rotation

it is extensive in cervical and lumbar region but restricted in thoracic region

so remember that flexion, extension and lateral flexion is max. in cervical and lumbar region and least in thoracic region.....

so the answer is rotation icon_arrow.gif
