Some data from the latest edition of Park (18th ed) to help guys who don't have access to it. I've also seen d link -

I'm putting data randomly (i dunno which of them have changed from last edition) Please add or ask for d data i miss, ok.. Hope it helps..

Total population - 1049 million (2002)
Crude birth rate - 25 (2002)
Crude death rate - 8.1 (2002)
Total fertility rate - 3.1 (2002)
CPR - 46.2% (2002) (52 is also given but mohfw says 46.2)
IMR - 63 (2003)
Neonatal mortality - 45 (1999)
Child mortality rate - 19.5 (2000)
MMR - 407 (1998)
U-5 mortality - 93 (2002)
Infants fully immunized - 56% (2002)

*Acc to national survey on blindness (2001-02) estimated prevalence of blindness = 1.1%

* DOTS treatment success rate = 86 % (2002)
