what is the exact period when in i.u. life SURFACTANT shows to begin?
1.20 weeks.
2.24 weeks.
3.18 weeks.
4.22 weeks.
answer is VERY CONFUSNG AS SOME TEXTS SAY IT 20 ,SOME 24.
WHAT IS THE ANSWER HERE?

ya u r right they have given diff valuse in diff. books...so what i come to conclusion is ....

Surfactant production starts==22 to 28 weeks gestation. take avg of this comes to 25wks so i would go option = 2=24wks as the ans..

Surfactant production reaches maturity levels==34 to 35 wk gestation.

coul d u pls tell which book are u quoting.

ghai says--20 wks and peak at 35 wks.

if some more authentic text is saying so,i wd rather unlearn that and remember what u r saying.

thats what i have been saying too--
starts at 20 wks and peaks at 35 wks.and the ref we are giving is--ghai.

but dr kbravva has some other conclusions.
thats why i asked him--which book is he quoting.

now drkbravva--could u pls clear this doubt--as to which book is saying 22-28 wks?
