A patient presents with loss of sensation on skin over the forearm. Injury to which of the following cells would most likely affect the conduction of sensory information to the CNS?

1.Multipolar neurons
2.Bipolar neurons
3.Unipolar or pseudounipolar neurons
4.neurons in ventral horn
5.neurons in sympathetic chain ganglia

Comeon guys we need more replies here and with explanation preferably...its actually an easy question if you remember to think in terms of the sensory tracts(big time clue!!)

I think its unipolar or pseudounipolar neurons .
The sensory stimulus is recieved first by Dorsal root ganglion cell..which is a pseudounipolar neuron. The other two cells involved are 2nd order[ in CNS] and 3rd order neurons[in thalamus] which are unipolar neurons.

I thought I should also say why the others r wrong ...
Multipolar neurons have several dendrites and one axon...seen most commonly in the CNS
Bipolar neurons have one dendrite and one axon and are seen specifically in Olfactory epithelium, the retina and the inner ear.
The other options r cheap distractors got nothing to do with the sensory system... ventral horn is to do with motor system and ofcourse sympathetic chain ganglia with sympathetic (autonomous nervous system)
