Hi.
i passed MRCPCH -1,jan.-2006.I studied Beattie and did 123.com,which is much better than onexamination.com.I can say that b'cos i did both of them and found onexam. useless.Do as many mcq's as possible and aim for 80% in mock test in online 123.com.However u must have a look on the pastest material,it contains almost simillar pattern mcq's as in the exam.

Even 123 .com and onexamination does not give you proper feeling of the exam. pattern.I would be happy to be of any help.

congrats BILLA... did u attempt part A and B both in Jan? Im planning to try both in may but as yet havent really started serious studying and now i feel like 2 months is waaay too little time! i was considering onexamination but after reding ur comments i think i'll go for 123... thanks for ur tips!

I appeared in both parts on the same day.And ,of course, two months is a short time.Join 123.com only,this is my sincere advice.Do app.100 questions /day,starting two months before the exam.

i also was surprised with my pass in jaunary. but i guess it shows that if you try enough times, eventually it will hapen for u!! So good luck to all u who are taking it in May!!

I used 123doc.com too and realy liked it. i met my sudy group thru it as well. this was my second attempt at the exam and the first time i used pastest, i didnt find it good.

thank you for ur useful advice.. ive just joined 123doc today and after taking a look at the mcqs im scared!!! im only halfway thru my first reading of essential rev notes and i feel like theres not enough time to complete it properly and then do all the mcqs..but right now when i havent even studied properly the mcqs are too intimidating... any suggestions how i should go about things?? btw i also have a few mcq books for MRCPCH at home as well so i would also like to do those...or should i leave those and do 123.doc only? please advise me!

Hi,buddy!Do not get disheartened by the mcqs.Just keep on reading and doing mcqs.It will take a while for you to get adjusted to this level.However,i would like to point out that the mcqs in the exam are totally different from what you are going to see in the 123.com.But it is the best choice.
I do not know whether you have some experience of paeds.It is very diifficult for those who do not have any experience in Paediatrics .
Do not ignore the growth and puberty,and endocrinology chapters.
I would be happy to respond to any queries form anyone.
