hello.......
iam a radiologist ......my name is dr fiaz email .....
i presume you are a GP .......i dont know the boooks for GP....i think basically its the same as your PG syllabus i am not sure..... we didnt have a writtten exam.....it was only viva and clinical case reporting.......
they categorize u depending on your qualification in to GP /Specialist / or a consultant..........and also your years of experinece post MD.........
documentation required is ........
all your Under grad and post grad attested my UAE embassy form your country before that u will have to get the degree attested from HRD and foreign affairs ministry delhi.......
Your experince certifcate also attested form UAE embassy(I am taliking for MOH in UAE)
your passport copy/ photos........I think it will be better for you to come down and apply personally.... why dont you check the website this for DUBAI ......
MOH in uae is divided into DOHMS -for dubai, GAHS(GENERAL HEALTH AUTHORITY ) FOR abidhabi and MOH FOR NOTHRERN EMIRATES......
try your luck...........

Hi Dr Fiaz wecome to the forum I just went throught the forum Can i just comment on the degree attestation from the respective country This has been changed and it is not required for the degree Instead for paying 500 AED it would be sent back to the home country by emirates post and atteseted from the parent institute who issued it The info is available on emirates post website. Guys better check it bcos attestation from UAE embassy costs a lot so only get the docs attested which re necessary
Dr Fiaz seem to be quite experienced himself may i just suggest u also give a personal advertisement in the local paper in hunt for jobs If u have already done it then good luck for goverment job bcos I m sure u will have plenty of Private jobs to choose from.

hai friends, i cleared moh exam and given specialist B certificate. but the problem is there are three systems in uae to get a job.
1. DOH exam for getting a job within dubai. For doh exam, a hospital/clinic has to sponspor a doctor. For mbbs doctors, after clearing interview they will give GP license. For specialist, after clearing interview they will give GP(specialist) license. In both cases that doctor has to work within the hospital/clinic which sponspored him. he cannot work in another place atleast for two years.
2.General authority of health services applies only for abu dhabi emirate. here also same like doh. hopital has to sponspor and after interview they will issue license and that doctor has to work within that hospital only.
3.MoH exam- For GP doctors both written and interview conducted as per schedule. usually exam will be tough. only 15-20% clears the exam. For some speciality, only interview conducted and license given. for some speciality, esp. Obs
&Gyn. both written and interview conducted. they are giving two types of license for specialists. usually for indian specialists Specialist B license given i.e.they can work under consultant. after some period of experience, specialist B doctors can upgrade themselves to Specialist A after attending another interview.specialist A means specialists can work and practise independetly. consultant status not given for indian degrees.
if any of u know more information please inform and let me also know.
