hi sangeetha no doubt harrison is the bible here also but there are some real helpful lots , lets start with ashish gupta if you can manage to do previous 12 papers , beleive me lot of topics can be covered, apart from that O.P.GHAI for pedia is also unmatched when it comes to cardio and hepatobiliary system. a sound knowledge of Anatomy and physio makes some solid marks, but the real clincher here is CROSS which will groom you for short subjects and Psychiatry radio skin and anesthesia acount for about 25-30 questions , which acounts for solid 10% in this exam.
hope it will be of some help

i think CSDT answers a lot of questions from AIIMS .and i feel it is a little easier to remember than baily.also mentions the latest stuff.but again its an individual choice...

Quick Scroll my money on schwartz 03.21.06 (2 years ago) #7

hi there
wel i feel that retro study from schwartz is the best......almost all the answers to the nov 05 AIIMS and aipg 06 could be traced to schwartz......
dont go by the size ....there r lotsa areas u r skipping anyway like ortho7gyne ....so ultimately its as voluminous as csdt if not more wholesome
cheers

hi niyati
do u have the 8th ed ....its single volume......theyv abridged it......anyways consensus opinion of my teachers is that u need either csdt/schwartz.....
may be u can map out only the specific paragraphs having answers to prev mcqs.....
that might be a high yield strategy
nyways do let us know which book uv decided on......
bye
