Dicrotic notch is coincident with 2nd heart sound.....dont know abt what aortic pressure wave means...

i think it is same as arterial pulse wave

am confused b/w c and d

dicrotic notch it is a small oscillation on the falling phase of pulse wave caused by vibration set when aortic valve closes,so it coincides with 2nd heart sound,agreed

is there any diagnostic value?

whats the ans given?

all i know is that dicrotic notch is not normally palpable.
it is coincident with closure of aortic valve,beginning of diastole.--but it is not normally felt.
