The Russel- Silver syndrome is one of the Chromosomal disorder/ syndrome associated with Short Stature.

The Down's syndrome is usually diagnosed at birth, but Russel- Silver syndrome, Turner's, Noonan's syndrome may present with Short Stature.

Turner's syndrome may be perticularly difficult to diagnose clinacally and should be considered in all short ststure.

Where as Turner's syndrome is associated with 45XO karyotype, Noonan's and Russell-Silver syndromes have no recognised chromosomal abnormality and diagnosis requires recognition of their clinical features.
