Debate: Isn't it high time to have OSCE/CSA in final MBBS?
After every exam I keep on hearing some examiner purposely screwing up a particular candidate in practs or a really bad external examiner whose policy is only to pass certain percentage of student. Then there are some examiners who pass even grossest candidate.... The point is that there is no standard protocol for evaluation of clincal skills of student.... even if its theoretically present its highly unimplementable in current system of practical examination.

I feel that to eliminate this examiner bias or whims and to bring uniformity in evaluation of candidates across the college we should have a system similiar to that of OSCE and CSA in MUHS.

I'm looking forward to know ur view points and opinion on this matter.

UNANSWERED: Topics division/frequency in final mbbs question papers?

OSCE have been introduced in some universities which only a part of the exam and It is usefull only to some extent.
It is completely based on your knowledge and skill.
But if the examiner wants you to fail he can still do that in viva.
But still it can fetch you marks if the examiner failed you by few marks

Aim DNB Part 2

It is high time practical exams test clinical skills in OSCE or similar format. OSCE not only tests clinical knowledge but also doing (shows how) of the millars pyramid of competence

Cunningham's Manual of Practical Anatomy
Completely redesigned in an attractive new format, this popular three-volume manual provides students and practitioners with a comprehensive guide to human anatomy and a dissection guide recognized throughout the world.
