Quick Scroll Alert: Additional Dates for PACES 01.19.06 (2 years ago) #1

Notice on rcp website:

Quote:
MRCP (UK) PACES Examination February/March 2006 - London And Edinburgh Colleges
Additional Examination Dates

Dear Candidate,

Please note that due to the large number of applications received for February/March 2006 the London and Edinburgh Colleges will be running examination centres after 12th March 2006 and outside of the main assessment period detailed on our MRCP (UK) calendar (i.e. 23rd February ? 13th March 2006).

London - centres will run on 18th and 19th March, 3rd and 4th April and
10th, 11th and 12th April 2006. Spaces will be allocated on a first come
first served basis and the applicants who applied latest will be expected
to take the later spaces.

Edinburgh centres will run on 22nd and 23rd February plus 14th, 15th,
20th 21st, 27th, 28th and 29th March.

If you wish to be considered for these later dates, please email your College
of Entry:-

London College: PACES Candidate Office on paces.queries at mrcpuk.org

Edinburgh College: PACES Administrator Jo Gibson on j.gibson at rcpe.ac.uk

Any candidates allocated a late March/April date should note that we are
actively working on reducing the amount of time that it will take for us
to process these results and will advise candidates affected by this in
due course.

It is anticipated that allocation of centres and dates for the PACES exam
will be completed and details posted approximately 9th February 2006.

In future candidates can expect PACES to continue to run at examination
centres outside the main assessment periods. You are asked to bear in mind
that we cannot guarantee to allocate you a clinical space on a specific
date. Therefore you are advised to be careful to make sure that you do not
book courses or make any other appointments that could potentially clash
with the date of your PACES exam. While the Colleges will do their best
to avoid any such clashes we must insist that priority be given to the PACES
exam.
