Q 51. diagnosis of abd pain in preg.
Options A peptic ulcer disease B fulminating pre-eclampsia C appendicitis D abortion E fibroids F cholecystitis G ect preg H urinary inf I ureteric stone J abr placenta K hydramnios L pyelonephritis

1. A 33 y/o multiparous woman of 32 wk gestation complains of severe back pain. The urinalysis reveals red blood cells. She is apyrexial
2. A 25 y/o primi of 8 wk gestation presents with sever lower abd cramping, vaginal bleeding, and the passage of clots. The internal os is open.
3. A 28 y/o primi 10 wk gestation presents with sudden, severe lower abd pain. Her abd is rigid and ut is tender.
4. A 30 y/o multi of 12 wk gestation presents with lower abd pain and tenderness. She also complains of urinary frequency. She is apyrexial.
5. A 26 y/o multi 20 wk gestation presents with headache ad epigastric pain . her BP is noted to be 150/100 and rising.

Abruptio placentae (ie, placental abruption) refers to separation of the normally located placenta after the 20th week of gestation and prior to birth.
