Q 64 causes of abd mass.
Options A psoas abscess B appendicitis C tuberculosis D crohn’s disease E diverticulitis F ca in the sig colon G ca of the caecum H Obs of the common bile duct by calculus I ca of pancreas J ovarian cyst K mesenteric cyst.

1. A 40 y/o man presents with fever painless jaundice and a pal GB.
2. A 30 y/o woman presents with colicky abd pain and distension. On exam a smooth mobile spherical mass is palpated in the centre of her abd. A fluid thrill is elicited and the mass is dull to percussion.
3. A 30 y/o man presents with fever abd and back pain and a mass in the rt iliac fossa. The swelling if soft tender dull and compressible. It extends below the groin. He denies nausea vomiting or diarrhoea.
4. A 50 y/o man presents with a dull ache in the rt iliac fossa and diarrhoea. A freely mobile mass is palpated in the rt iliac fossa. The rectum is normal and faeces contains foods.
5. A 55 y/o man presents with fever left iliac fossa pain nausea and chronic constipation. A tender sausage shaped mass is palpated in the lt iliac fossa.
