i have a couple of doubts regarding the prep for step2.

how many readings to be done b4 taking the usmleworld?
in what order are you studying or revising the subjects?
how many days do you require for a quick final revision before the real exam?...give a subjectwise break up if you please

since nobody has come up with an answer yet, i`ll tell what resources have told me about final revision

entire syllabus should take about 12 -14 days

score is reported on oasis in 21 days...scores posted to candidates on the same day...takes another days to reach you if you are in india...sooner if in US

im so sorry i havent been able to reply to your query any sooner

as far as i know , prematch is when the faculty likes the candidate during the interview( that includes your score / experience/ overall personality).following the interview they`ll offer you the spot on their residency program.this means that you can take up their offer and forget about the remaining interviews.your residency is fixed in their institution.but it also means that you cannot participate in the match.you are not eligible to submit the rank order list in the match.and you cant chuck the program once you accept the prematch.so even if you are likely to get a better program you cant leave this one.
