To RXPG Team - PLAGIARISM

RXPG team,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to post this but I and a few other members have noticed that lot of content/questions/discussions and articles are getting copied from rxpg and getting pasted on a website called aipge..plz run a google search..its the first n second results that come up.
This has been brought to the notice of some moderators but no result so far.Today I discovered that an article I wrote after my GRE
exam and submitted to RXPG titled "A to Z guide to GRE
after MBBS" has been copied verbatim and pasted on that site by someone else's name who is taking credit for my article with statement like "i'm glad my posts are helping others".It is posted as "GRE
after MBBS"I was shocked to see this hence, I posted on their website requesting them to remove my article immedietly as it has been posted without my permission.Their response however was to delete both my posts and change a few words in their article..for example changing the score from 1440 to 1430 and changing "chaltha hai" to "okeish" etc.I need not point out to you that this is totally unacceptable state of affairs.
In fact if you run a google search for "GRE
after MBBS" the first two results are their article..[i mean, my article on their website] and only then my original article in RXPG shows up.This is totally unfair. Its a blatant show of plagiarism that aipge forum is exhibiting.
A lot of questions and discussions from USMLE
step1 threads have been copied and posted there. For instance, the discussion on "why is there an ejection systolic murumur in aneamia".
I do not mind more people reading the article and benefiting but this is not the way to do it.This is unethical and illegal. As an individual I may not be able to do much about this. But as a team and website owner RXPG has the responsibility to protect our articles and posts which are submitted in good faith by us.I would hate to just stand by and let them continue in this vein and sincerely hope that RXPG will take this issue seriously and ensure protection of our content in future.I also request you to try and remove all articles that have been copied there from rxpg.I am waiting to see my article removed from their forum and hope rxpg can check this problem in future also.
And all the members of rxpg forums , please do check out if your articles and threads have been copied as well.
Hoping for support from all of you,
sincerely,
veena

This "no ads please " is not helping anyone in this instance so I'll take the liberty to post the name of that forum anyway. Its a..i..p..p..g..dot ..n..e..t
Anyway if u run a google search with keywords "GRE
after MBBS" that is the first site u will find. They have obviously invested in some search engine optimisation also which is enabling their results to come up first.

Hi everyone,
Veena is absolutely right.
I myself have observd this copying of posts. It was a huge shock to see my posts being copied and posted on other sites under someone else's name.
Some of the questions and answers discussd were copied and posted verbatim on the a-i-p-p-g..dot....net site.
Veena is correct when she says that our purpose of posting information in any forum is for all people to benefit from it.
But the trouble and the work that a person takes to post any information on a forum for others' benefit shoul get its due.And this sort of plagiarism is not the way it shoudl be done.
I have reasons to believe that posts and articles have been copied frm not jst the USMLE
forum but others too.
It is sad that not jst the members' but also the moderator's posts have been copied and pasted verbatim on other sites.
Id like th RxPG team to take a note of this and I leave it up to the administrators to take further action.
However if this sort of a thing continues, I have to say that it shall prove to be a big impediment to future posting, and active participation in this site.

Thanx dana n kanna for ur support .Hi flower..I was talking about "a..i..p..p..g"
not AIPGE
..the latter I believe is an official RXPG subsite.
Actually my writeup being copied is not of any major personal loss to me..and I'm certainly not losing all my sleep over it.But at the same time , its not something we should ignore or put up with.I particularly resent the fact that they promptly deleted my posts requesting them to remove the article from their forum!! And what puts the icing on the cake is that when my post showed up on their site..[before they deleted it]..every place I had mentioned rxpg was replaced by [ob..scene] !!
I found that google has certain policies on web content copyright and plagiarised material showing up first in google searches. It requires RXPG to Register a complaint with google online..and certain other measures clearly listed there.Further it will be evident from the fact that the article was posted much earlier on this forum that this was the original post. There are ways to do something basically..if someone is willing to do it:)
