Hi fia,

I am an MBBS and am currently working as a demonstrator in a medical college in UAE. I saw the earlier posts about openings in HMC and i, too, went to the HMC site but was unable to get much info as part of their site is under construction. Please answer these queries urgently for me, as i may have to go there.
1) is it easy for indian nationals to get residency there?
2) if not, what is the chance?
3) what is the name of the medical licensing exam that one has to clear in order to practise there, when is it conducted and is it easy?
4) what is teh procedure to apply for a job in HMC?
5) can you tell me what you position you worked in there?
6) if not residency, what other openings in clinical or college settings are there, and how can i apply?

I hope you won't mind me asking so many questions, but you seem to know a lot more than i do, so i will be very grateful to you if you would provide these answers as soon as convenient to you.

Well in a recent visit to Doha, i was adviced that it would be ideal if i would come to practice there after completing my postgraduation! But ofcourse that was just the view of one doc! I was also told that the exam might be tougher than PLAB

What is the exact name of the licience exam conducted in Qatar? Where can I get more information about it, is there a website that will have info of this exam? I searched quite a bit but so far I have found nothing on the net.
