hello everybody,

I took my step 2 cs on 9th jan2006 and my only advice is practise loads coz time is most important. Nothing kills you as much as the time limit does, so whatever you do practise doing everything in 15 mins.The staff is helpfull and feel free to ask any doubts.Waiting for my results...hopefully i clear the exam.

how did you go about the prep? do give us a few pointers.how many days did you take to prepare?what books/softwares?i plan to take my exam later in the year.

well i had around 4 weeks to prepare for my CS and since i had just gotten done with my step 2 Ck so obviously the first 1 week was completely wasted.I read the first aid book like over 3-4 times and that really helps.apart from that i used the csa 40 case file and most importantly practise loads on whoever is around.The way i see it more than knowledge its the time management that counts.Remember in 15 mins you cant do everything so its okay if u cant do the complete examination.Also be ready with short and sweet lines about counselling for smoking and drinking etc.The writing part is better than the case taking keep practising loads thats the only key.Hope this is of help.

is reading only first aid enough?or somethin else required.i am plannin for the 2007 match and have already taken step 1.should i take my CS or CK first now? because i want to finish the 2 by november.do u think i can make it to the 2007 match?
