as the blood supply to the peripheries is decreased so it will not be well absorbed if given subcutaneously.

It is given intra muscularly or intrvenously ( if given by IV route 1:10000 Adr used)

you seems to mean by i.v ( i.v infusion )because as i know i.v route is fatal in the regard of adrenalinepls correct me if i am mistaken

Shabana, further clarification-
Adr used in septicemic shock IV bolus not infusion & in in circulatory shock not used atall, NorAdr used. (Pls refer Satoshkar for all this)
For Septicemic shock
-Adr 0.2-0.5 ml Im
-or Adr 2-5ml in 1:10000

i become confused i will arrange what you said

1_adrenaline is used in anaphylactic shock i.v infusion (1:10000)

2_it is used in septicemic shock i.v

3_it is not used in cardiogenic shock instead noradrenaline is used

For cardiogenic shock: an inotropic agent with vasodilatory properties, or some other form of afterload reducing agent.

Patients have low cardiac output with high filling pressure and vascular resistance
Dobutamine is an inotrope that reduces vascular resistance
Inodilators such as dopexamine are also useful
Pure vasodilators such as nitrates or nitroprusside may also be useful

adrenaline has beta-1 and 2 activity wheras aradrenaline has potent beta-1 but negligible/no beta-2 activity....right?
