I am a doctor with the background of passing USMLE step 1&2(2001) and having clinical experience as a general physician of more than 10 years(Govt and pvt hospitals including two years' clinical research fellowship in a university hospital in JAPAN). I have been seeking a suitable job abroad. Could anyone please give me some information on getting a job in UAE or some where else with my qualification?

I have seen some documents on UAE medical license but several things are not clear to me.

Firstly, whether I must find an employer before starting the MOH/DOH registration/licensing procedure. If so, how can I do it from India?

Secondly, Is there any possibility of getting exemption from licensing exam with my qualification? And what is MOH/DOH GP licensing exam like(only clinial/MCQ/Essay type)?

Lastly, can I send my application directly to MOH/DOH, UAE from India?

Your relpy to my queries and any suggestion on getting a job abroad will be greatly appreciated.

as far as i know, if you have passed the USMLE you neednt give the licensure exam in dubai. the licensing body if different for dubai and the other emirates. you can get more information on dohms.gov.ae
