wud u call this digging skeletons?but this one was not buried!was left unanswered!thought if i wud answer the soul may rest in peace!
Quote:
femoral nerve damage unlikely
wrong as femoral nerve is kinked during adduction n rotation of thigh
Quote:
flexion of hip upto 90 degrees decreases chances of obturator injury
wrong,as obturator nerve injury chances increase with acute hip flexion
Quote:
external rotation of hip is assoc with less sciatic nerve damaged
wrong,as sciatic nerve is stretched by knee extension, thigh flexion, and external hip rotation
Quote:
pressure on arteries worse than on nerves
dunno exactly, cudnt find any ref.but litho is def assoc with severe compartment syndromes.
Quote:
damage to common peroneal nerve
peroneal nerve gets damaged between the fibula n stirrup
all these ref frm LEE,except for the obturator nerve one;but i do remember my teacher's sayings clearly
so,is the ans is E?
kindly confirm n let the souls rest in peace!

during lithotomy position if the thigh is flexed upto 90 degree at the hip then obturator nerve injury is less likely
