hey...
i asked my senior ( dr.Kashif ) on the phone about the visa. He said that you can go on either a Student or tourist visa. But according to him the tourist visa is not available easily in the developing countries, untill you parents had lived there before. so he advised me go on a student visa....
well now i'm very clear to ask you the question after i've cleared the situation...
PLZ TELL ME THAT CAN I GET A STUDENT VISA ( 1 yr or 6 months ) FOR GIVING THE TEST...AND I'M NOT CALLED BY UNIVERSITY BUT EXAM COUNCIL?
i mean the for student visa some university should call you.. but here AMC council calls you.. so plz clearify this doubt plz...

I'm not sure if you're asking about which visa to use for AMC... you could either apply for tourist or business visa. For further info, visit the DIMIA website and see if you could find answers there.

Hi Naeamz, I don't think you will be granted a student visa just for the exam, unless of course you are enrolled in a course in a university in Australia . Better get the tourist visa for the AMC exam. Its not true it's hard to get a tourist visa. You just have to submit all the requirements/documents they asked, otherwise processing would be delayed. Please contact the Australian embassy in your country for more information. Good luck!

in our country HEC (higher education Commission) awards certain scholarships to the students who wish to go to other countries for Post graduation
2ndly Ausaid also calls students for higher education in Australia
i wanted to ask ..if i'm called by auniversity the and i might be able to get STUDENT VISA, then
CAN I APPEAR IN THE AMC exam while being a post graduate student.
in that instance i'll be there on the student visa...
PLZ HELP ME OUT IN THIS CONFUSING SITUATION

Dear Naemz,
There is no restriction from AMC for appearing in exam regarding visa.Visa for AMC is business class 456 which you can easily get provided you have proper documents that you are appearing in it.

Yes Naeamz, If you got any visa to go to Australia , you will be able to take the AMC exam, provided of course that your visa is not expired.
