One query?actually just a confusa that needs clearing up.
1)Chr. anovulatory states are assoc. with a reduced risk of surface epithelial Ca ovary-Fact.
2)Unopposed hyperestrogenism(as in chr. anovulatory states like PCOS ;or excess unopposed exogenous estrogen supplementation in Turner?s or Gonadal Dysgenesis pts.)increases risk of endometrioid neoplasms of ovary along with ca endometrium-Also a fact.
So,in the exam if the question goes like ?Which of these is assoc. with a reduced risk of Ca Ovary??,and PCOS seems the only reasonable choice, should we go for it?And why?
