Quick Scroll Debate: Future of USMLE - Bright or Bleak? 02.11.06 (2 years ago) #1

hello

i'm posting this, bassed on a recent discussion i had with my friends...

its said that since uk is saturated (and to make it worse they r bringing in some stumbling block by next year to reduce the inflow).....many are switching on to the usa option.....especially coz the rumour that these days visas are not a big problem!!

the future situations could be (based on the probability of a large inflow of doctors to usa)

1.........it could alert the us officials to make visas very very strict....they ll never allow the uk situation to happen in usa!!!

2.........if they dont restrict the visas....then to get interview calls are going to be very difficult....cos of the high competition

so according to many...its not a good option to wait till 2008 match!!and score will matter more than ever!!

what do u all say?is this a probable scenario in the future?wat can we do?

Quick Scroll hello georgie, 02.14.06 (2 years ago) #10

hello georgie,

yeah i heard that one! but dont worry its difficult for all . so juss work hard n keep ur fingers crossed n also leave everything to god ( watever we dont have in our hands) n have faith in everything u do! icon_rolleyes.gif

hey i also heard that taking the exam in usa improves the chances of getting gud score! is t rite? i thought its absurd, coz the score depends on how well we perform ,rite! not on that in which country we will take the exam?plzz throw some focus on this if u know!

thank u !

goodluck!

bbye!
