hey ash...so whats the answer?? But stricture isnt a common cause of infertility?? I had done this Q before and they gave varicocele as the answer...?but sorry no reference..

Most common surgically treatable cause of male infertility is stricture urethra . once we corect the stricture (surgicaly) we notce improvment , while varicocele cause oligospermia or azospermia , even post operative, which may be corrected by hormonal therapy (non-surgical)
