well.u see you should go through harrison for the following topic-
1.respiratory system
2.CVS a must read
3.Hepato billiary
and others like- malaria,kalazar,tuberculosis etc
for viva n else you should follow
1. medicine viva- by kundu
this comes in 2 volumes and is a must read stuff.
follow S das clinical surgery and short case text book .these are very important ones.
you can also read matthews for medicine, but its a note book so i advice you to first go thrugh proper text books the use this manual of medicine.
lemme know if you need naything else?? anyways you belong to which medical college???

Medicine:
Harrison- main text book
Davidson- 2nd book for respiratory & endocrine
API- 2nd book for CVS
Golwala- 2nd book for GIT, CNS, skin & psychiatry
N. Ahuja + Harrison for psychiatry
S. Pandya- for fluids & electrolytes

Surgery:
Bailey & Love- main text book
S. Das textbook of surgery- 2nd book, especially for GUT & general surgery
Short cases by Bhattacharya
DK- notes on surgery

Orthopaedics:
Maheshwari- standard text book, no doubt, but
J. Ebnazer- may be a bit hi-fi, but helps to differ from others a lot..

O&G:
Dutta- main text book for Obs
Shaw's- main text book for Gyanaec
Current O&G Diagnosis & Treatment- a very good 2nd book for O&G
Ten teachers

Paediatrics:
O.P. Ghai- main text book

For ENT, Bhargava & Dhingra are quite good books. If you want to still add to them, Logan Turener is good for referance..

For Ophthalmology, Khurana is the main standard book, but from Parson, you will get good knowledge, & of course, Kanski, a standard referance for PG..

Try revising ur own notes and pay excellent attention in clinics as well as answer questions what the clinician asks so that he/she knows that there's a topper in the batch.
