Hi any idea of what the trends are for kerala entrance? what sort of studying should you do?
is it repeated questions or do u need to read the text well?
will there be crazy questions like in AIPGE
?

My rank is around 20,attempted 299,not wild guesses for a great no:, some times had to go 4elemination,never dared to attempt things unheard of.was pretty thorough with numerical values.they actually DETERMINE our ranks.its wise 2 have 3-4 sheets of paper,to jot down numerical values and %'s,etc..stuffs which burn ur brain in exam halls!
i made 22 mistakes according to vimoj sir's key, they wheren't tough questions at all, simply becoz either my mind wandered,i went careless or purely out of a 'jaada' that i have made the last few questions correct(my class xii brother too cud have answered them!)After a good preparaton, all u need is keep yourself away from text books, just go thru your notes, points which you always forget....like Ca,parathormone, calcitonin, genes mutated in various diseases,CDvalues, haematology, normal values....etc...have a gud sleep, which i dint get,coz off too much of thoughts and strain.we always conduct interviews with rank holders, try to follow them and reach half way and drop mainly out of lack of confidence.i dont think even the 1st rank holder gopi knows everything that biju knows(if biju is nowhere in the list too).dont expect to know every thing.actually,i had dropped Anatomy
and half of biochem, coz i dint have time,i couldnt revise harri well, couldn't recollect anything fully.this happens to YOU AND ME.we shud aim 4 a perfect preparation, just to gain confidence, not perfection.in 1 year preparation, its impossible to learn and memorise everything thats learnt in 5 years.if u take 5 years to learn thoroughly,u lose grip!

any body who has studied average during mbbs can get thru either ai/state pg with 8-12 months of constant dedicated planned study.a fresh mbbs passout (after the internship) has the maximum chance of getting thru the entrance than a guy who has gone for gp for 1 year and coming to study.you need to identify the key areas and focus.revision is the single most important factor deciding your rank in an exam..
you need to believe in yourself and this confidence can bring wonders to your results..if you dont get into one exam try the next as soon as possible.you will be in the list very soon.so my advice to who all couldnt make it this year is to start now itself..dont waste time.start your study now and maintain that advantage..

counselling most likely to be in the last week of march.there is a bond of 3 lakhs.regarding medicine, friend you are in the borderline.i heard the last rank to get medicine was 31 or 32.it was the 1st in the waiting list.but if you can mobilise someone capable to free the order for seat increase from papers to reality, you can be sure of your seat.
