pt with fibrocystic disease

1: No Lymphadenopathy


2:Frequently pain occurs or increase in cycle during premenstrual phaseof cycle.

3:disease is more common between 30-50 years of age.

4:There is risk of breast cancer showing proliferative or atypical changes in the epithelium is higher than the woman in general

5:best treatment is by avoiding trauma and providing good support to breasts .

Hormonal therapy is not advisable.

Danazol 100-200mg twice daily is advised for pt with severe pain,But it has undesirable androgenic effects.
