Hi Aujla,

You can read this thread to get some ideas

Other thing is to contact ICMR (asuming you are in India) or your college departments to find whether you can join in any ongoing project.

An option can be to take house job as clinical research fellow (offered in AIIMS and some other places). You will be paid peanuts but you can definitely do experiments on monkeys in that job (pun intended icon_wink.gif ). You can ask vineetgsvm for more details about it.

hi people,

frankly this the first time i am getting to see so many docs interested in research.hardly anyone does.when i mention it in college it is received in a very indifferent manner.i did approach many departments in my own hospital and even the faculty show the same attitude except for a very few.i wanted a recommendation letter to apply for a fellowship, which was a computer printout, and this prof who should have indeed guided many pgs asked me to get the whole thing typed icon_exclaim.gif icon_exclaim.gif icon_exclaim.gif icon_exclaim.gif icon_exclaim.gif this after i waited for quite a while icon_evil.gif icon_evil.gif icon_evil.gif icon_evil.gif i got so mad i just left.

i did go through pearl's message.it was very informative.thanks to all those who post queries because lot of us get answers even if one answers.

also if you can also mention all of your publication.that way many will get an idea of what constitutes research and what their peers are doing.

thanks again.keep informing.
