how much GRE score is considered good and which can fetch u a good scholarship .. and can anyone give an idea about approximate scores at which someone can get good scholarship in different courses through GRE ..

there is no fixed defination for a 'good GRE score'..
it all depends on what grad program u want to enter and which university u are applying to..

above 1200 will get u an admit.... and 1300+ will surely get u an admit...

it will be easier to tell u more if u specify the course and university.

if our priority is just good scholarship in branches like mph or nutrition in an average universuity.. how much score will help

admissions are based not just on GRE scores but also ur academics, sop, lor's etc... an average GRE score with good lor's wud get u an admit..
scholorships for mph are scarce.. altho on campus jobs r an option... gettin these jobs has nottin to do with ur academic credentials.. u need to have a good command over english, thats all....

There is no gud or worst scores as for as medicos are concerned...Even above 1100 will get u an admission ( provided u make solid SOPs & gud LOR). U should be lucky enough to get going through ur VISA process- and that matters a lot...

Sybarites and GL r right. From the success stories of some of my friends, I feel SOP and Academics have equal weightage as GRE scores.

U need to come out as a VERY, VERY, GENUINE mph aspirant.

Anyone who has passed Master degrre from recognized Indian university can get admission to Ph.D...
I know one person who is M. Tech. and he got admission in Ph.D. in Duke university directly..
But they do consider your academic performance and SOP..
