hey shrav i was a big fan of igmc shimla uptil now you can go to website of igmc also really tempting

but i advice you to check bond condition of pg students in Himachal pradesh i have heard there is a service bond

so do sufficient home work before you choose shimla as your destination

there is still a big question mark on coucelling but still regarding ur query
igmc requires u to fill a bond for servicing for 5 years failing which 15 lakh rs have to be paid plus the stipend u take for three years has to be returned with interest....

opthal in shimla is really really good ...the faculty is excellent ..with a separate block for opthl ..my friend doing DO there and he is very happy..recently lasers for cost of 1 crore were installed ....lots of cases ..and lots of oppurtunity for phaco surgeries....to top it all ..its a beutiful place to be in (if newly married u can have a 2-3 year extended honeymoon).
